Delhi Capitals Complete Squad: On Monday, February 13, the first auction for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 took place at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. Before the tournament, the Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC), Gujarat Giants (GG), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and UP Warriorz (UPW) carefully chose their best lineups.

Auction:
JSW GMR Cricket Private Limited, which is a partnership between GMR Group and JSW Sports, will own the Delhi team in the Women’s Premier League. The company paid Rs 810 crore at the auction to get the rights (USD 99.35 million approx). Jonathan Batty, a former wicketkeeper and batsman for Surrey, Gloucestershire, and Northamptonshire, will be their head coach. Former India cricketer Hemlata Kala and former Australia cricketer Lisa Keightley will work together as assistant coaches.
Biju George, who has worked with both the Indian women’s cricket team and the Delhi Capitals men’s team as a fielding coach, has been named the fielding coach. There were a total of 448 cricketers at the auction, 269 of whom were Indian and 179 of whom were from outside India (including 19 players from Associate Nations). Before the tournament, Delhi Capitals signed some interesting players.
