Smriti Mandhana was the player who cost the most

During the first season of the Women’s Premier League, there was a lot of interest in both big names and young players. India’s Smriti Mandhana was the player who cost the most. Royal Challengers Bangalore paid a huge INR 3.4 crore to get her. Ashleigh Gardner, an Australian player, was bought by Gujarat Giants for INR 3.2 crore, and Nat Sciver-Brunt, an English player, was bought by Mumbai Indians for the same amount. Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of India, went to the Mumbai Indians for INR 1.80 crore, and Deepti Sharma went to the UP Warriorz for INR 2.60 crore. Shafali Verma got INR 2 crore from Delhi Capitals. The same team gave Jemimah Rodrigues Rs 2.2 crore.
