Cricket player Taskin Ahmed Tazim was born in Bangladesh on April 3, 1994. He bats left-handed and bowls right-arm quick. In first-class and List A cricket, he plays for Dhaka Metropolis, and in the Bangladesh Premier League, he plays for Rangpur Rangers. Biography of Taskin Ahmed:

Early and domestic career

On January 10, 2007, Taskin began playing cricket in a schoolyard in Abahani. He was chosen to play for the Bangladesh national under-19 cricket team after competing at the under-15 and under-17 levels. He made his Dhaka Metropolis first-class debut against Barisal Division in October 2011. With 11 wickets, Taskin led Bangladesh in wicket-taking at the 2012 ICC Under-19 World Cup. He won the match’s man of the match award for his bowling statistics of 4/31 against Duronto Rajshahi in the semi-final of his second Twenty20 in the BPL 2 for the Chittagong Kings.Taking eight wickets in four games was the turning point in his career.

In October 2018, Taskin was selected for the Sylhet Sixers franchise in the Bangladesh Premier League draft. With twenty-two dismissals in twelve games, he was the team’s top Wicket-taker in the competition. The Rangpur Rangers team selected him in November 2019 to represent them in the Bangladesh Premier League for the 2019–20 season. During the 2021 Lanka Premier League players’ draft, he was selected to play for the Colombo Stars.

International career of Taskin Ahmed:

In the event of Mashrafe’s injury, the door of the national team unexpectedly opened for him. On April 1, 2014, he played in his first T20I and dismissed Glenn Maxwell. He made his ODI debut for Bangladesh against India on June 17, 2014, taking 5 wickets.

On January 12, 2017, Taskin played in his first Test match for Bangladesh against New Zealand and claimed his first test wicket by removing Kane Williamson. Taskin was included in the Bangladesh team across all forms for their tour of Zimbabwe in June 2021. Taskin made 75 runs and reached his first Test half-century against Zimbabwe in the sole Test match. He shared a 191-run partnership with Mahmudullah, the second-highest ninth-wicket partnership in Test cricket history. The greatest individual score at number 10 by a Bangladeshi batsman in an away match was Taskin’s 75 runs.

The fastest bowler in Bangladesh cricket history is now Taskin. As of 2001, Mashrafe Mortaza was the fastest player in Test cricket, clocking 148 km/h against New Zealand at Hamilton. Taskin broke that record during the 2021 T-20 World Cup. Taskin has a constant bowling speed of about 140 kph (87 mph).

Personal life of Taskin Ahmed:

Abdur Rashid, a businessman, and Sabina Yasmin are the parents of Taskin. King Khaled Institute awarded Taskin his SSC, and Stamford College gave him his HSC. The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) was his next place of study.

In November 2017, Taskin wed Sayeda Rabeya Nayeem, a companion from his youth. Tashfeen Ahmed Rihan, their first child, was born on September 30, 2018.
