Somila Sisanda Bruce Magala (born 7 January 1991) is a professional cricketer from South Africa. In April 2021, he made his international debut for the South African cricket team.

Domestic career of Sisanda Magala:
For the 2015 Africa T20 Cup, Magala was a member of the Eastern Province cricket team’s roster. With 12 wickets, he led all bowlers in the 2016 Africa T20 Cup. For the inaugural season of the T20 Global League, he was included on the Nelson Mandela Bay Stars roster. In October 2017, Cricket South Africa postponed the event to November 2018, and then cancelled it.
During the inaugural Mzansi Super League T20 event in October 2018, he was a member of the Nelson Mandela Bay Giants team. In preparation for the Mzansi Super League, Sisanda joined the Cape Town Blitz roster in September 2019. Gauteng’s cricket team included him in April 2021 during the South African season 2021-2022. An ankle injury prevented Magala from playing for South Africa in May 2021 in Ireland.
International career of Sisanda Magala:
He was included in the South Africa One Day International (ODI) squad for their series against England in January 2020. Magala was, however, deemed to be not fully healthy prior to the ODI series and was left out of South Africa’s side. But the Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for South Africa’s matches against England included Magala the following month. Magala was selected for South Africa’s limited overs squads for their series against Pakistan in March 2021. On April 10, 2021, he played for South Africa in his first T20I match against Pakistan.
Against the Netherlands in November 2021, he was part of South Africa’s ODI team. On November 26, 2021, he played in his first ODI for South Africa against the Netherlands. Magala was selected for the series against India’s Test team the following month. At the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, he scored his first five-pointer in any format against the Netherlands for a score of 5-43.
