Rajasthan Royals Schedule: On April 2, 2023, in Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals will play their first Indian Premier League (IPL) game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. This will be a very exciting match. The 16th version of the tournament will start on March 31 in Ahmedabad. The champion Gujarat Titans will play the Chennai Super Kings in the first game. Ten teams are split into two groups, and the Royals are in Group A with the Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, and Delhi Capitals. In IPL 2023, 74 games will be played at 12 different locations. On May 28, the final will be held in Ahmedabad.

During the IPL mini-auction on December 23, 2023, Royals added to their team even more. Rajasthan Royals were able to keep their best players and add some good ones at the auction. They paid INR 5.75 crore for Jason Hoder, a Caribbean all-rounder, which was their biggest purchase on auction day. They also bought spin bowler Adam Zampa from Australia for just INR 1.5 crore. Along with Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin, Zampa will add to the Royals’ already world-class spin attack. Royals also got the young, versatile South African batter Donovan Ferreira, who recently made a name for himself with some impressive performances in the SA20 2023 tournament.
Joe Root, a former England captain and one of the best batters of this generation, was signed by Rajasthan in an accelerated round for just INR 1 crore. This was a surprise move that made the news. Root just got back into T20 franchise cricket with Dubai Capitals in the UAE’s ILT20 2023. In his last two innings, he hit 80* and 82. The Royals, which are led by Sanju Samson, look strong after making some smart moves at the auction. They have also managed to cover all of their bases with good backup options.
