PSL Captains List: Now, players from all over the world want to play in the Pakistan Super League, or PSL. Even though the PSL can’t be compared to long-running tournaments like the BBL or IPL, it has become a big deal in the middle-east.

There are six teams in the HBL PSL. Shadab Khan is the captain of Islamabad United, Imad Wasim is the captain of Karachi Kings, Shaheen Afridi is the captain of Lahore Qalandars, Md. Rizwan is the captain of Multan Sultans, Babar Azam is the captain of Peshawar Zalmi, and Sarfaraz Ahmed is the captain of Quetta Gladiators. Here are the Complete List of PSL Captains:

1. Islamabad United – Shadab Khan:

Shadab Khan, who plays for Pakistan in all three formats of the game, is the captain of the team from the capital city. Shadab has played in 6 tests and scored 300 runs, averaging 33.33, with 3 scores of 50 or more. Khan is also ready with 14 wickets. The multi-format cricketer has a batting average of 28.38 and has scored nearly 600 runs and taken 70 wickets in One Day Cricket.

Shadab has proven himself to be a T20 veteran by scoring 476 runs in 38 innings at a strike rate of 143 and taking 98 international wickets at a healthy economy of 7.08. In total, he has played 225 T20 games and scored 2088 runs and taken 258 wickets. This cricket player is very skilled and has a total net worth of $1.5 Million.

2. Karachi Kings – Imad Wasim:

Imad Wasim is another multi-format cricketer who has played for Pakistan in all limited-overs games. He was a useful all-rounder in the Odis and a good choice for the T20i team, and he did very well in the shorter versions of the game played in Pakistan. Imad played as an all-rounder for Pakistan in 55 ODIs. He scored 986 runs, with an average of 43, and took 44 wickets. Wasim also took 55 wickets and scored 339 runs in 58 international Twenty20 games.

Imad’s domestic T20 numbers are even more impressive, with more than 2500 runs and almost 250 wickets in 280 games. Imad had a net worth of $2 Million after a short but successful career.

3. Lahore Qalandars – Shaheen Afridi:

Shaheen Shah Afridi is the latest fast bowler to get a lot of attention in Pakistani cricket. Pakistan has produced some of the best limited-overs fast bowlers in recent years, including Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Imran Khan, Mohammad Asif, Shoaib Akhtar, and Wahab Riaz.

Shaheen is becoming a legend in a country known for its fast bowlers. In his short but well-known international career, he has taken 99 test wickets, 62 ODI wickets, and 58 T20 wickets. Having played T20 games in the PSL, Bangladesh Premier League, and England’s T20 Blast, with a total of 128 wickets. In his short career, he has made $6 Million in total earnings.

4. Multan Sultans – Md. Rizwan:

Pakistan’s new star in T20 international cricket, who will also be on the ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year in both 2021 and 2022. Rizwan is another cricket player who can play in different ways and is also the vice-captain of his country. He has played in 27 tests and scored 1353 runs, which is an average of 38. He has also played in 52 one-day internationals and scored 1247 runs, which is an average of 32.8.

Rizwan has done well in the shorter T20 format. He has played in 80 international and 216 domestic T20 matches, scoring 2635 and 2805 runs, respectively, for an average of over 48.8. Rizwan, who is the best batter in the world, is worth $6 Million.

5. Peshawar Zalmi – Babar Azam:

People think that Babar, the captain of Pakistan, is the best cricket player of our time. Among all the great batsmen who are considered greats of the game, Babar has been highly regarded for the last three or four years because he stepped up when everyone else was having a rough time. Babar has played in 47 tests for Pakistan. He has scored 3696 runs, which is an average of 48.6.

Babar also has a great record in one-day internationals (ODIs). He has scored more than 4,800 runs in 95 games, giving him an average of almost 60. Babar is also very good at T20Is. He has played 99 of them and scored 3355 runs and 3472 runs in 104 domestic T20s, with averages of 41.4 and 40.9. The skipper is worth $5 Million dollars.

6. Quetta Gladiators – Sarfaraz Ahmed:

The captain of the Gladiators is one of the most experienced captains in the PSL. He was the captain of the Pakistani national team when they won the Champions Trophy in 2017. Sarfaraz got almost 3,000 test runs in 51 games, so he will play his next test against England in 2022.

He has scored 2,315 runs in 117 One-Day Internationals, 818 runs in 61 Twenty20 Internationals, and nearly 4,000 runs in 133 domestic matches in the PSL and T20 Blast. He is the 2023 PSL captain with the most money, $11 Million.
