Personal life of Litton Das

Litton Kumer Das was born in Bangladesh’s Dinajpur. He is a traditional Kayastha Hindu from Bengal. His mother is Anita Das, and his father is Bacchu Chandra Das. His two brothers are. He took a typical path to play cricket in Bangladesh. Das participated in age-appropriate teams while attending BKSP.

He tied the knot with Devashri Biswas Sonchita, an agriculturalist in Mirpur, Bangladesh, on July 28, 2019.

Domestic career of Litton Das:

In 2012 and 2014, Das participated for Bangladesh in the Under-19 World Cups. He hit five hundred while representing Rangpur Division in the National Cricket League in 2014–15, finishing the seven-match campaign with 1,024 runs at an average of 85.33. The championship was won by Rangpur Division. Das achieved his first double-century in first-class cricket in January 2017 while representing East Zone in the Bangladesh Cricket League for the 2016–17 season. In February 2017, Bangladesh’s one-off Test match against India saw him return to the squad.

After the draft for the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League, Das was selected for the Sylhet Sixers club in October 2018. He participated in the 2019 Caribbean Premier League for the Jamaica Tallawahs, marking his debut in a foreign franchise league. In two tournament games, he amassed 44 runs. During the 2019-20 Bangladesh Premier League, Litton Das scored 455 runs for the Rajshahi Royals.

Das participated in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup for Gazi Group Barishal in 2020–21. As a result of the postponement of the Pakistan Super League 2021 games, he was signed by Karachi Kings in April 2021. In preparation for the 2023 Indian Premier League, Kolkata Knight Riders acquired Das for 50 lakhs (US$63,000). In that season, he only participated in one game, scoring just four runs.

International career of Litton Das:

On June 10, 2015, Das played in his first Test match against India. He debuted in a One Day International on June 18, 2015, also against India. On July 5, 2015, he faced South Africa in his first Twenty20 international match. Mushfiqur Rahim, the captain of Bangladesh, received a request to play just as a batsman on March 2 of that year, and Das took over as wicket-keeper for the Test series against Sri Lanka.

Das made his first ODI century against India on September 28, 2018, in the 2018 Asia Cup final, and went on to make 121(117) with 12 boundaries and 2 sixes. The batsman would ultimately be named “Man of the Match” despite Bangladesh losing the game on the last ball. In April 2019, Das will compete for the Bangladeshi team at the 2019 Cricket World Cup. He played against the West Indies in his World Cup debut, scoring an unbroken 94 runs and forming an unbroken 189-run stand with Shakib Al Hasan that propelled Bangladesh to a renowned 7 wicket victory.
