Top 10 Batting Performances of Rishabh Pant in IPL

Rishabh Pant first game was in 2015 for the Delhi Daredevils. Zaheer Khan was the captain at the time. The wicketkeeper-batsman is a middle-order player who is aggressive by nature. He played many counterattacking innings in the Ranji Trophy, which is a tournament that tests your patience. In his first season, he didn’t get many chances to show off his skills to the whole cricket world. But Pant’s real brilliance as a batter came out in 2016 and 2017 when he played counter-attacking knocks. Rishabh Pant got his first chance to play for the Indian National Team against England on Feb. 17 because of how well he did in the IPL.

In 84 IPL games, he has scored 2498 runs and has a strike rate of 147, which is very fast. He had a 6-year career in the Indian Premier League (IPL). During that time, he played many mesmerizing knocks and made real progress, which helped him do well in international cricket. In 2018, he made a century against Kane Williamson, who was captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Rishabh has done well in all three formats and in the IPL so far.

These are his top knocks from past IPL appearances:

1. 128*(63) – DC vs SRH in 2018

In a league match against SRH, Rishabh Pant was the only Delhi Capitals batter to hit a ball the whole time. Rishabh has a huge strike rate of 210 and scores 128*. He was so good that he beat all of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s bowlers. When Delhi batted first, they made a huge score of 187 for SRH. Shikhar Dhawan, Kane Williamson, and Rishabh Pant joined the action to try to catch up. But Hyderabad was able to catch up to the target because they batted hard and Delhi’s bowling line-up wasn’t very good.

2. 97(43) – DD vs GL in 2017

The captain of the Gujarat Lions, Suresh Raina, led them from the front. He hit a great fifty, and together with Dinesh Karthik, they scored 208/6 wickets. But for Delhi, Sanju Samson started strong with 61 runs in just 31 balls. When Pant joined him with 97 runs in 43 balls, the target looked so close to the two batters. In the end, Shreyas Iyer finished the job for Delhi by getting them over the line that marks the end of the game.

3. 85(48) – DC vs RCB in 2018

The RCB, led by Virat Kohli, chose to bowl first, and DC set a target of 175 with the help of Rishabh Pant’s 85(48) and Shreyas Iyer’s 50. But the RCB, and especially Ab de Villiers, planned to kill the DC. As he finished the game two overs before the 20-over time limit, RCB still had six wickets. Rishabh was once again on the bad side because the DC bowlers couldn’t take advantage of the score that their batters had set.

4. 78*(27) – DC vs MI in 2019

This time, Rishabh Pant’s powerful hit kept his team in the lead until the last ball of the game. In his rocking knock of 78*(27), he hit 7 fours and 7 sixes, giving him an impressive strike rate of 290. This time, however, MI’s batters weren’t able to break the streak, even though Yuvraj Singh scored a tough fifty against a good bowling team from Delhi Capitals. This is one of Rishabh Pant’s most devastating knocks in any format he has played in so far.

5. 79(45) – DC vs CSK in 2018

MS Dhoni and Shane Watson both scored 50s to help CSK beat Delhi Capitals in their first game of the season. This was a great way to start the season. Both of them took CSK to the flyer of 211, which was hard for DC to catch up to when CSK attacked with gun bowling. But Rishabh changed his mind as he brought Delhi’s capitals very close to the goal with his amazing knock of 79(45). He did this by hitting 7 fours and 4 sixes, and DC was just 13 runs short of winning the game.
