Ishan Kishan ODI double century: All the records he broke and rewrote

On December 16, 1997, she played against Denmark and scored 229* runs. Sachin Tendulkar was the first man to hit a double century (200*) in an ODI match, which was played against South Africa in 2010. There have been 10 double centuries in ODIs so far. Three Indian batsmen are among those 10. Rohit Sharma is the only player in ODI history to have scored three double centuries.

Ishan Kishan double hundred

Kishan, an Indian batsman at the top of the order, hit the fastest double-hundred in men’s ODIs today in Chattogram. He was playing against Bangladesh. Kishan got to 200 runs quickly. It took him only 126 balls. He hit 24 boundaries and 10 maximums on his way to a huge score of 210. Kishan is the youngest person to hold the record. He is only 24 years old. The previous record was held by Chris Gayle, who hit a double-hundred in 138 balls while playing against Bangladesh in 2015. Virat Kohli got his 72nd hundred in international cricket in the same game. He got 113 runs in 91 balls. With his 72nd international century, Kohli is just one behind Sachin Tendulkar, who has 100.

The match didn’t really matter, since the hosts already led the ODI series 2-0 going into the last game. Both teams’ starting 11s were different. Bangladesh made two changes, and India’s captain changed because Rohit Sharma was hurt and couldn’t play. Ishan Kishan didn’t play in the first two games of the series, but he was brought in for the third game when the team had to make a change.

1. Indian player Ishan has become the first player to score a double century away from home in an ODI. Charles Coventry scored 194 not out for Zimbabwe against Bangladesh at Bulawayo on August 16, 2009, the highest score by a batsman against Bangladesh in ODIs.

5. Ishan has become the youngest batter to score a double century in ODIs, surpassing Rohit Sharma’s record of 209 off 158 balls against Australia at Bengaluru on November 2, 2013. He was 26 years 186 days old at the time.
