Domestic Career of Nasir Jamal:
In July 2014, he played for Afghanistan against Zimbabwe in his first One Day International. On September 12, 2017, he played his first Twenty20 match for Mis Ainak Knights in the Shpageeza Cricket League. He was included in Kandahar’s roster for the inaugural Afghanistan Premier League competition in September 2018.
He was selected to play for Afghanistan’s under-23 team in the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in December of that year.
International career of Nasir Jamal:
Nasir was included in Afghanistan’s squad for their first-ever Test match against India in May 2018, but he was not chosen to participate. He was a member of Afghanistan’s Test team for their one-off encounter against Ireland in India in February 2019, but he did not participate in the game. He was once again selected for Afghanistan’s Test squad in November 2019, this time for the lone match against the West Indies. On November 27, 2019, he took the field for Afghanistan in his first Test match against the West Indies.
