Domestic career of Mushfiqur Rahim:

Mushfiqur Rahim represented Bangladesh Under-19s prior to representing his country. Between 2004 and 2006, he played for them in three youth tests and 18 youth one-day internationals (ODIs), batting an average of 31.75 and 36.00 in those respective formats. At the Bangladesh Institute of Sports, Mushfiqur Rahim received his training. He represents Rajshahi Division domestically. The highest individual score by a Bangladesh batsman in Test cricket, he concluded his innings on 219*. and set a record for a Bangladesh batsman in a Test innings by facing 421 balls and spent 589 minutes at the crease throughout the innings.
• Mushfiqur passed the 4,000-run barrier in Tests in November 2018 to become the second Bangladeshi batsman to do so.
• He was a member of the ICC Men’s ODI Team of the Year for the calendar year 2021 at the annual ICC Awards in January 2022.
