1.) Mahendra Singh Dhoni has the most expensive bat

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who used to be the captain of India, holds this unique record. His bat sold at auction for £100,000 ($161,295), which is a lot of money. It was bought at MS Dhoni’s “East Meets West” Charity Dinner in London on July 18, 2011, by R K Global Shares & Securities Ltd (India).

If you’re wondering what made this bat so special, it’s because Dhoni used the same bat in the World Cup final in 2011 against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium. MSD hit the winning shot with the bat, and India won the World Cup for the first time in 28 years.

2.) Fastest delivery of a cricket ball – Shoaib Akhtar

Shoaib Akhtar, a former fast bowler from Pakistan, was known for his incredible speed and ability to consistently bowl at 150 kmph. The right-handed pitcher has scared batsmen from all teams for a long time because of his long run-up, big body, and great speed.

Akhtar got his name in the “Guinness book of world records” in 2003 when he threw the fastest delivery in the history of cricket. Akhtar bowled at a speed of 161.3 km/h (100.23 mph) during the 2003 World Cup. This is still the fastest delivery in all of cricket.

3.) Most expensive cricket shirt – Jos Buttler

The shirt worn by Jos Buttler in the 2019 World Cup final sold at an online auction for the most money. On April 8, 2020, it sold on eBay for £65,100 ($80,157).

After COVID-19 broke out, the wicket-keeper batsman sold his World Cup final-worn shirt on eBay to raise money for the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. At the auction, there were 82 bids, and the winning bid was £65,100.

4.) Anthony McMahon, the youngest cricketer to hit six sixes in an over

Anthony McMahon of England is the youngest player to hit six sixes in a row in the same over. He did this amazing thing on May 24, 2003. He was 13 years and 261 days old at the time. At the Eppleton Cricket Club in Durham, Anthony was playing for Chester-le-Street against Eppleton.

Kristan Baumgartner, an English amateur cricketer, used to hold the record for the highest catch, at 62 meters. Healy broke that record with his catch.

On August 29, 2019, Osman Goker played his first game for Turkey. Against Romania in the Romania Cup at the Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground in Ilfov County. He was 59 years and 181 days old. Goker broke the record set by Botswana’s James Moses, who made his international debut against Uganda on May 20, 2019, when he was 53 years and 285 days old.

8.) John Wisden’s record of ten bowled wickets in an innings

John Wisden was the only bowler in cricket history to get all ten batsmen out. In the North vs. South game at Lord’s in 1850, he did the unbelievable thing.

9.) Sachin Tendulkar, who amassed the most runs in an ICC World Cup competition
