Islamabad United is a Twenty-20 cricket team based in the city of Islamabad. They play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The PSL team with the most wins is Islamabad United. In the history of the PSL, Islamabad United had won the title twice (in 2016 and 2018). In PSL 2015, the Islamabad United team was created. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium is where ISLU plays its home games. Luke Ronchi has scored the most runs for Islamabad United, while Faheem Ashraf has taken the most wickets.

History:
Leonine Global Investments bought the Islamabad United franchise for 15 million US dollars. The PSL franchise that makes the most money is Islamabad United. In PSL 2016, Misbah ul Haq was the captain of the team. Islamabad United had a dream start. They beat the Quetta Gladiators in the final game of the tournament to win the first PSL. Sharjeel Khan got the most runs for ISLU in the 2016 PSL, and Andre Russell took the most wickets for the team. Misbah ul Haq stayed Islamabad United’s captain in the PSL 2017. The team played good cricket, but they lost in the last game of the season and ended up in fourth place. In the 2018 PSL, the winner was Islamabad United.
This was Misbah ul Haq’s second title as captain of Islamabad United. In PSL 2018, Luke Ronchi got the most runs for the team. ISLU made it to the playoffs, but they didn’t win any of their knockout games. In PSL 2020, Shadab Khan was the captain of ISLU. For the first time in PSL history, the team didn’t make the playoffs. They ended the season with 3 wins out of 9 league games. For the PSL 2021, ISLU has good players on its team. Some of the big names on the team are Alex Hales, Asif Ali, Shadab Khan, Chris Jordan, Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, and keeper-batsman Phil Salt.

Red, orange, and blue look like paint and are the main colors in the Islamabad United 2023 kit. In the top right corner of the shirt of ISLU is a lion, which is a symbol of what cricket is all about. Paint graphics, which they call Cricket x Art collaboration, are the new thing on IU’s shirt. Imran Qureshi is the one who came up with this new idea.
